WHAT DOES THIS FEATURE SOLVE?

Touchpoint Insights lets you analyse the interactions you and your colleagues have logged with political stakeholders. You can identify patterns across parties, topics, groups, and parliamentary portfolios - and use that data to document your organisation's political reach to management. The feature supports both individual prioritisation and team-wide reporting.

HOW TO USE IT - STEP BY STEP

  1. Go to Touchpoints Insights in the left navigation.

  2. You now have six views to navigate between:

    1. Overview shows a combined summary of your entire team's touchpoints - broken down by parties, stakeholders, and topics. Use this view when documenting your organisation's overall political reach or preparing a report for management. The page also presents a timeline and a network chart.

    2. My touchpoints shows only your own interactions. Useful for reviewing your personal activity and identifying who you should prioritise reaching out to next.

    3. Groups page allows you to select stakeholder groups and dive into how your activities are covering the different groups. Use this to assess whether you are covering the right actors broadly enough.

    4. Touchpoints with parties provides an overview of how your interactions are spread across parties. Use this view to identify blind spots - parties you rarely or never meet with.

    5. Tags shows which topics (tags) have characterised your touchpoints. Useful for checking whether your meeting activity aligns with the political priorities you are working on.

  3. Adjust the time period at the top of the page to filter data to the period you want to analyse.

  4. Export the view by clicking the export icon if you want to use the data in a report or presentation. Data can be exported as csv or as illustrated in the charts.

GOOD TO KNOW

  • Insights are based on the touchpoints logged in the platform - the more consistently your team logs, the more accurate and useful the insights become.

  • The Overview includes touchpoints from all colleagues. If a team member leaves, their data remains visible, giving you access to the full history - including when they last interacted with a given stakeholder.
