Ulobby recommends using Single Sign-On (SSO) and supports integration with Microsoft 365 aka Microsoft Entra ID (formerly called Azure AD).

Expected setup time: 15 minutes or less.

If you're an end user, you likely don't care much about SSO details. You just want to use the apps that make you productive without having to type your password so much. As administrator, one of the benefits is that less passwords to remember equals less calls to the helpdesk, resulting in more time to spend on other tasks.

Single sign-on for Ulobby is straightforward. You let the Microsoft identity provider know it's being used for the app via Azure Portal. And then you configure the Ulobby app to trust the identity provider.

To setup SSO, first request a setup-link from your contact at Ulobby and then follow the steps listed bellow.

Step-by-step instructions:

2. Open Entra ID administration:

3. Click "Register an application" or "New registration".

4. When the Register an application-page appears, in the Name-section, enter Ulobby

5. Use the default "Supported account type", e.g. "Accounts in this organizational directory only (Single tenant)". This will limit access to users from your organization.

6. In the "Redirect URI"-section, select Web in the combo box and enter the redirect URI shown in the setup form from Ulobby (ex. https://ulobby.dev/login/XXXXX/callback)

7. Select Register to create the application.

8. On the app's Overview-page, find both the Application (client) ID-value and the Directory (tenant) ID-value and record it in the Ulobby setup form.

9. On the left menu, select "Certificates & secrets".

10. In the Client Secrets-section, select New client secret, and then:

11. Enter description  Ulobby

12. Select the key duration to Never expire. (Setting another expiry date than Never introduces a business continuity risk of your users getting locked out - so make sure to note the expiry, and/or inform Ulobby using the provided form)

13. Select Add.

16. Download a logo tile from https://ulobby.app/img/ulobby-square.png

17. Use "Upload new logo" to upload the logo tile.

18. On the left menu, click Authentication

19. Enter "Logout URI":  https://ulobby.app/login

20. Fill out and submit the Ulobby Setup Form.
